A Sand Witch Story Childrens Books

Sand Witch is a God figure, living in Leaven, who brings bread and cakes etc to life. Her first two creations "First Slice and Second Slice", disobey her and are banished to Unleaven Land where they become Mouldy and Stale.

Behind these problems is the evil Professor Manny Baker, Master at Dough, a.k.a. Beelzebun, working hard to spoil everything.

Helping him in his efforts to thwart the good works of Sand Witch are his own creation, the very dim, but immensely strong, Thick Slice, as well as the professional footballer, Pizza and the famous disc jockey, Gingerbread Fred.

Sand Witch however, continues to create all sorts of bread people and soon Unleaven Land even has its own pop stars: Simply Bread, Wheat Loaf (singing his hit single Bap out of Hell), Crisp de Burger (Lady in Bread), The Rolling Scones, The Bagels, Cobbie Williams and Tina Turnover etc etc.
